As CSI’s Vice President and Principal Engineer, Jeffrey has the opportunity to take on some of the most challenging and rewarding projects of his construction engineering career. Jeffrey brings to CSI the know-how he gained through more than a decade of engineering experience and managing a wide range of construction and renovation projects. From direct damage to construction-related issues, Jeffrey has mastered how to evaluate, repair, and protect buildings & structures for a multitude of reasons.
Jeffrey has worked on the design and development of plans and specifications for a variety of residential and commercial construction projects. His projects have included new construction and renovations to many high-end condominiums, offices, state parks, public school buildings, university facilities, and hundreds of custom homes.
Jeffrey has built his knowledge of advanced construction and renovation methods, including the proper use of a variety of building materials and the principles of environmentally focused LEED design. As an Accredited Professional in LEED design, Jeffrey has worked on multiple projects in Jacksonville and has trained to the highest standards of environmentally-focused construction, design, and engineering. Jeffrey is also registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) and as a Certified General Contractor (CGC).
Before joining CSI in 2012, Jeffrey supervised and reviewed the production and renovation on high-rise buildings and structures while working for as a Project Manager for a South Florida engineering firm. Jeffrey conducted construction administration, building design, project supervision, quality assurance, code compliance review, threshold inspections, and expert witness documentation for this firm out of a satellite office in Amelia Island, FL.
Jeffrey earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Florida State University. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Concrete Institute (ACI), International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF), and the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
